Beyond the Booth
If DJing was only about playing music, I’d have stopped years ago.
What’s kept me going, evolving and growing is the responsibility that comes with sound.
Because music sure does shapes culture, builds communities, and creates shared identity across borders.
This is the part of my journey that matters most to me.
Music as Cultural Translation
My work has always lived between worlds.
Indian melodies.
Global music structures.
Bollywood emotion layered over house, trance and psytrance frameworks.
That blend is definitely not accidental. It’s my lived experience translated into sound. When I remix, I’m not just making people dance, but I’m introducing cultures to each other, without needing language, subtitles or explanation. That’s cultural contribution in its purest form for me.
Releases That Shaped My Artistic Identity
Some releases mark turning points for me because they defined my ‘sound’ understanding.
“Jiyo Dil Se” Official Radio Remix
Being selected to remix “Jiyo Dil Se” for 94.3 MY FM, India was so much more than a remix job. It was a moment of trust from a mainstream platform, and I gave my heart and soul to it.
It validated my ability to:
- Respect original compositions
- Adapt music for broadcast audiences
- Translate emotion into a club-ready yet radio-friendly sound
That remix expanded my reach far beyond clubs, transitioned into everyday listeners’ lives.
Original Album with Purple Sky Studio
Producing an eight-track original album with Purple Sky Studio was a major creative milestone.
This body of work allowed me to:
- Establish myself as a producer, not just a DJ
- Build a long-term artistic catalogue
- Experiment with fusion sounds that don’t fit rigid genre boxes
Original releases are legacy work and they live on long after a set ends.
Recognition Felt Like Industry Validation
Awards don’t make the artist, but they validate consistency and impact. Winning Best DJ at ‘The War of DJs’ four times was way more than only trophies. These accolades placed me firmly within the professional DJ ecosystem, not just the nightlife circuit.
Music doesn’t belong to one country, one language, or one genre.
My journey, through releases, recognition and live performance, reflects a commitment to cultural exchange through sound.
And that’s the contribution I intend to keep building.
