My Sound, My Remixes & My Global Vision

My Journey as DJ Toons: From a Music-Obsessed Kid to a Global Party DJ

If you read Part 1 about where I came from, this one is about what I’m building and why it matters.

Because DJing, for me, was never just about playing tracks.
It has been and would always be about creating sound that travels across cultures, borders, and dancefloors.

Why Remixing Became My Creative Language

Anyone can play a hit. But remixing is where you interpret, reimagine, and reshape a song into something new. My remixes are always built on respect for the original composition, thorough understanding of dancefloor psychology and blending Indian musical emotion with global electronic structure

This is why my remixes sit comfortably in Club nights, Radio shows, Festival warm-up and even after-party sets.

Global Influence, Indian Roots

My sound naturally is a mix of East and West.

Growing up with Bollywood, classical Indian rhythms, and later falling in love with trance, psytrance and house, my music became a hybrid before “fusion music” became popular. And that’s why my work resonates not just in India, but with global audiences who love something familiar and fresh.

It’s also why I’ve shared line-ups and stages with international artists like Astral Projection, Eskimos, Edward Maya. And, not going to lie, these were more than any mega gigs, but they were loaded creative exchanges.

Radio, Recognition & Reach

Radio has played a massive role in expanding my reach beyond physical venues. From private radio stations early in my career to official remixes like “Jiyo Dil Se” on 94.3 MY FM, radio helped my sound travel into homes, cars, and daily routines. And yes, that matters.

Because it shows my work isn’t limited to nightlife only. It’s culturally accessible, broadcast-ready, and scalable.

Awards, Credibility & Professional Growth

Being recognised matters. Winning Best DJ at The War of DJs (four times) was honestly more than a trophy moment. It genuinely validate me from industry peers that my work stood out in a competitive scene. These recognitions shaped my confidence as a professional artist, not just a performer.

Original Music & Studio Work

Alongside live performances and remixes, I’ve always focused on original production. Working with Purple Sky Studio, I produced an album of eight original tracks, each one reflecting my journey, influences, and evolving sound.

Studio work allows me to experiment without limits. It kind of help me build a long-term musical catalogue and create music that lives beyond one night.

Why the UK, and Why Now

The UK represents something powerful for artists like me. It’s a global hub for electronic music, cultural fusion, and creative experimentation. My work naturally aligns with the UK’s music ecosystem, diverse, genre-fluid, and internationally connected.

The next phase of my journey is about expanding my remix catalogue, collaborating with global and UK-based artists, performing for new audiences and contributing to the electronic and live music culture here through mentorship and making it accessible and inclusive as I can.

What I Stand For as an Artist

At the core of everything I do is this belief – Music should connect people, not label them.

Whether it’s a Bollywood remix, a psytrance drop, or a deep house groove, my goal is the same, create moments where people forget boundaries and just feel.
